Your acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Airsoft Exchange website at airsoftexchange.uk (the "Platform"), operated by Ben Wortley ("we", "us", "our").
By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account, or listing items for sale, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
What We Provide
Understanding our marketplace service
Airsoft Exchange is a classifieds marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of airsoft equipment in the United Kingdom. We provide a platform for users to:
- •List airsoft equipment for sale
- •Browse and search for items
- •Communicate with other users
- •Leave and receive feedback
Important: We Do Not Process Payments
Airsoft Exchange does not process payments between buyers and sellers. All transactions are conducted privately between users. We strongly recommend following our Safety Guidelines when conducting transactions.
Eligibility
Who can use Airsoft Exchange
To use Airsoft Exchange, you must:
- •Be at least 18 years old - The sale and purchase of Realistic Imitation Firearms (RIFs) is restricted to adults under the VCRA 2006
- •Be a UK resident - Our Platform is designed for the UK airsoft community
- •Provide accurate information - All account and listing information must be truthful
- •Comply with UK law - Including the VCRA 2006 and Firearms Act 1968
For the sale or purchase of RIFs, buyers must have a valid UKARA defence or other legal exemption under the VCRA 2006.
Account Responsibilities
Your obligations as an account holder
As an account holder, you are responsible for:
- •Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- •All activity that occurs under your account
- •Keeping your account information accurate and up to date
- •Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
You may not:
- •Create multiple accounts
- •Share your account with others
- •Use another person's account without permission
- •Create an account if you have been previously banned
Listing Rules
Requirements for items listed on our Platform
Listing Requirements
- •Listings must be accurate and not misleading
- •Photos must be of the actual item being sold
- •Item condition must be accurately described
- •Prices must be in GBP and genuine
- •FPS and other specifications must be accurate

Fees and Payments
Our pricing and payment terms
Basic Usage: Creating an account and listing items is currently free.
Featured Listings: We offer optional paid promotion to increase the visibility of your listings. Prices are displayed at the time of purchase and processed securely via Stripe.
ID Verification: We offer optional identity verification to display an ID verified badge on your account. ID Verification is only available to users aged 18 or older and is processed securely via Stripe. Stripe verifies the authenticity of the ID document and checks that a live selfie matches the ID photo (no photo uploads). Depending on the verification flow, Stripe may also validate ID details against databases where available. Verification does not verify usernames or profile details and does not guarantee against fraudulent activity. We may review Stripe's verification results in rare cases of suspected fraud or legal compliance.
Refunds: Featured listing fees are non-refundable once the promotion has begun. If there is a technical issue preventing your listing from being featured, please contact us.
Future Changes: We may introduce additional fees or subscription plans in the future. Any changes will be communicated in advance, and existing listings will not be affected retroactively.
User Conduct
Expected behavior on our Platform
When using Airsoft Exchange, you agree not to:
- •Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
- •Post discriminatory, offensive, or hateful content
- •Attempt to defraud or scam other users
- •Manipulate the feedback system with fake reviews
- •Spam or send unsolicited promotional messages
- •Attempt to circumvent security measures
- •Use automated tools to scrape or access the Platform
- •Impersonate another person or entity

Important limitations of our service
Transactions Between Users
Airsoft Exchange is a platform that connects buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction between users. All sales are conducted directly between the buyer and seller, and we have no involvement in payment processing, shipping, or delivery.
We do not guarantee:
- •The accuracy of listing information provided by sellers
- •The quality, safety, or legality of items listed
- •The identity or authenticity of users
- •That any transaction will be completed successfully
- •The reliability of the feedback system
Users transact at their own risk. We strongly recommend following our Safety Guidelines for all transactions.
Limitation of Liability
Limits on our responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- •We provide the Platform "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
- •We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- •We are not liable for any loss arising from transactions between users
- •Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees you have paid us in the past 12 months
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Account Termination
Ending your use of our Platform
Your Right to Delete
You can delete your account at any time through your account settings. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data is deleted and what is retained.
Our Right to Terminate
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- •Violate these Terms
- •Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- •Receive multiple valid reports from other users
- •Attempt to manipulate or abuse our Platform
We will provide notice of termination where reasonable, unless immediate action is necessary to protect the Platform or other users.
Dispute Resolution
How to resolve issues
Disputes Between Users
If you have a dispute with another user regarding a transaction, we encourage you to resolve it directly. While we may be able to assist with communication or provide evidence (such as message history), we are not responsible for resolving disputes between users.
Governing Law
Legal jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
